Pray for our clergy-in-formation

Those of us who have a copy of the Diocesan year-book and have explored its many mysteries, already know of these gentlemen. Many, in a spirit of grave charity, have entered these names into their daily prayers. Indeed, we must pray for all our clergy, the men in the seminaries, as well as for more men to answer the call of service to the Church as priests, deacons and religious.

The students for the holy Order of the Priesthood of the diocese today are the Rev. Mr. Paul Smith of Our Lady of Lincoln, studying at the Pontifical College of S. Bede in Rome; the Rev. Mr. Jonathan Whitby-Smith, a former chaplain at the University of Nottingham, studying at Allen Hall in London; Mr. Liam Carpenter of S. Peter's in Leicester, studying at S. Mary's College in Oscott; and Mr. Limnyuy Gamsi of Our Lady's in Leicester, also studying at S. Mary's College in Oscott.

The students for the the holy Order of the Diaconate are Mr. James Baxter of the Most Holy Rosary in Burton; Mr. Sebastian Grab of the Holy Souls in Scunthorpe; Mr. David Kerry or the Cathedral in Nottingham; Mr. Seamus O'Looskan of the Sacred Heart in Leicester; Mr. Sean Bleakley of S. Anne's in Radcliffe; Mr. Richard Beben of Our Lady of Lourdes in Mickelover; and Mr. Alan Horgan of Our Lady of the Assumption in Beeston.
