Advice, Reading and Upcoming Events
The following videos have been produced by members of our diocese. They may be of help in guiding discernment and learning more about life as a seminarian and ultimately a priest.
Due to the ongoing travel and meeting restrictions as a result of covid, it is currently necessary to carry out meetings online. Our most recent one took place on Monday 1 March at 7:30pm (details above). In normal circumstances there are regular meetings and events for those in the diocese who are thinking about vocations to the priesthood and religious life. To take part in future events, please email either Fr Paul Newman (the Vocations Director, contact details on 'First Steps and Contacts' page) or Diane at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will keep you posted on future events.
It can be helpful to get the insights of others who have experience of dealing with discernment and vocations. There are a wide range of very good books to help with this. The following is a brief list of a few of the ones you may consider reading.
