Imagine ten thousand young Catholics filling Wembley Arena for a day of music, speakers, and prayer. For many young people, it's the first time they see how big the Church they belong to actually is, and how alive it feels.
Flame is the national Catholic youth gathering, run by CYMFed, held every two years at Wembley Arena. Flame 2027 takes place on Saturday 6 March 2027, and the Diocese of Nottingham holds 400 places, bought before the arena sold out, which means the national waiting list doesn't apply here.
How to come from Nottingham
Schools and parishes can choose from two options for groups of students in year 9 and above:
Ticket and coach travel: price to be confirmed. Coach departs from The Briars, Crich. Pick-up and drop-off times to be confirmed.
Ticket only (and Robin Hood hat): £35. Make your own travel arrangements.

What is Flame?
Flame is the national Catholic youth gathering run by CYMFed (the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation). Every two years, young Catholics from across England and Wales fill Wembley Arena for a day of music, keynote speakers, and prayer. It is one of the largest gatherings of young Catholics in the country.
Who can come?
Students in school year 9 and above. The event is organised through schools and parishes, individuals should contact their school or parish about joining the Nottingham group.
Why book through the Diocese rather than directly?
NDCYS holds 400 pre-purchased passes for the Nottingham group, secured before the arena sold out. The national waiting list does not apply to these places — but they are limited, so early enquiry is recommended.
