You are invited to join us for a day to discover what your call to evangelise could look like on Saturday 31st January 2026. Following on from January 2025's Everyday Evangelisation we are delighted to offer another day to help us explore our call to Evangelise.
Abbot Hugh Allan, the Mission Director from the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, will be our keynote speaker. We will also have workshops on Building a Culture of Invitation and Welcome led by Georgia Clarke (Alpha in a Catholic Context and Youth and Family Work St Elizabeth of Portugal, Richmond); and Cold Contact Evangelising led by Fran Hazel (Catechetical Coordinator, St Ralph Sherwin Parish Derby) and Joe Hopkins (Director of Adult Formation for Mission, Diocese of Nottingham.
The day will be structured around the three parts to our diocesan Evangelisation Directory - Pray, Understand, Act. Helping you grow in confidence to be able to share your faith with all those who God is calling you to. The day will begin by join the parish Saturday morning Mass at 10am, then the conference will begin at 11am and finish by 4pm. The day will take place at St Mary’s Church Hall, Derby, DE 1 3AU.
