The Good Shepherd Parish, Woodthorpe, Nottingham seeks to appoint an Administration Assistant to support the Administration Suite as we seek merger of The Good Shepherd Parish with St. Anthony’s Church (part of the current parish of St. Anthony, Calverton & Our Lady of Victories, Southwell, Notts.)

The work will include:

Being a welcoming first point of call either in person, telephone, or e mail.

Use of IT skills sufficient to maintain an efficient Administration Suite.

Be able to create and maintain paper filing systems.

Support the current Administrative Manager and other departments of the Parish (i.e. Finance, Maintenance, Assembly Rooms hire etc.

Hours; 12 per week, working on Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Office; based at The Good Shepherd Parish Administration Suite either in the Main Office or Assembly Rooms Annex.

Salary; £12 per hour (The Diocese of Nottingham is the Employer and uses the Real Living Wage)

The post will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.

The employer will be the Trustees of the Diocese of Nottingham. At all times the post holder will be required to work to and within the Mission Statement and policies of The Nottingham Diocesan Catholic Diocese and to have regard to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
