Following on from the great success of broadcasting one of the talks from our Diocesan Clergy Conference in 2024 we will be doing this again so that Catholics throughout the diocese can join together with their priests, deacons and bishop!
The Genesis Mission was founded by Fr Jon Bielawski and Michele Thompson from the Diocese of Plymouth, from the Office for Evangelisation and Catechesis. It focuses on forming mature missionary disciples from a pastoral perspective, within the parish in support of the New Evangelisation. It starts from the premise that evangelisation begins with encounters, a soul at a time. The Genesis workshops are experiential, guiding participants toward both personal transformation and equipping them to engage with various people. The series of workshops encourage a more deliberate missionary Vigilance, Intention, and Attitude (Missionary VIA) to live out discipleship with Christ fully at the centre.
