We are delighted to once again return to Mount St Bernard Abbey, Coalville again a Lent retreat for men in the Diocese of Nottingham on Saturday 28th March.
This year the theme of the retreat will be Limitless. We can be constantly frustrated by our own limitations, our shortcomings and failings. In the Lenten Gospel readings the Limitless power of God is revealed. In Christ we too can be limitless.
The retreat will be led by Canon Chris Thomas. Canon Chris is Parish Priest of the Holy Family Parish East Nottingham, before taking up this role he was the General Secretary of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales for 10 years. He will celebrate his Silver Anniversary of Priesthood later this year.
The day will include talks, opportunities for prayer, reflection, confession, Mass and guided stations of the Cross and adoration. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
The day will start at 10:00am and will finish around 3:30pm. The cost for the day will be £15 per person.
