The Synod on Synodality did not just happen in Rome in 2024 – it is now for us to put into practice here in the diocese. Some parish councils and teams have adopted ‘Conversations in the Spirit’ as a way to make decisions – but one has gone further, and shown what a parish could look like if we take the outcomes of the Synod to heart. Join Canon Andrew Cole, former parish priest in North East Lincolnshire and now at St Mary’s Derby, to explore how synodality can release your parish for mission, bring a renewed sense of common purpose, and help to place the parish at the forefront of community leadership.
