Young Adults' Lenten Retreat Day

This year our retreat will be on Saturday 2nd March and be given by Brendan Thompson and will be focussed on the Year of Prayer.

Brendan is the CEO of Catholic Voices and has passionately defended and joyfully proclaimed the truth of the Catholic faith on BBC, SKY, ITV and many other news channels. Catholic Voices was formed to train lay people how to defend the catholic faith in a coherent, joyful and passionate way for local, national and international media interviews.

As well as this work, since the autumn of last year Brendan has been carrying out a new role. He was appointed as the first Director of the UK Word on Fire Institute. The Word on Fire Institute was set up by Bishop Robert Barron to help Catholics know their faith better so they could grew in confidence and in their relationship with Jesus; as well as speak the truth of the Catholic faith into our secular culture.

The day will be from 10am-4pm at Holy Cross Church in Leicester and be completely free, though please bring a packed lunch.
