A special welcome to all students beginning your studies across the Universities of Bishop Grosseteste, Derby, De Montfort, Leicester, Lincoln, Loughborough, Nottingham and Nottingham Trent; and a warm welcome back to those of you returning to continue your studies. University is a time for growth, not only academically but in a holistic sense. It is often a time we come to a deeper awareness of who we are, where we find joy, and what shape our lives might take - a time for discovering vocation. An important part of that self-discovery is our journey of faith, coming to know the Lord Jesus more intimately, grow in awareness of God’s grace at work in our lives, and drawing more deeply from the wellspring of the church’s rich life in all its facets.
