The Diocese of Nottingham is offering a unique opportunity for healing and renewal, in a day of partnership with Unbound Ministry.
On Saturday 25th October, at St Barnabas Cathedral, Nottingham, there will be a Dedicated Day of Healing beginning with Holy Mass at 10am, celebrated by Bishop Patrick McKinney.
Mass will be especially beautiful, thanks to the support of the highly esteemed One Hope Project, who will be leading praise and worship throughout the day.
The day will include two talks, focusing on who we are and our relationship with God, along with the “Five Keys” of Unbound which are: Repentance and Faith; Forgiveness; Renunciation; Authority and the Father's Blessing.
There will also be dedicated time for Praise and Worship, Confession, the Anointing of the Sick and Eucharistic Adoration.
The day will conclude with an evening prayer service at 19:30, with the One Hope Project leading praise and worship.
Unbound is a healing ministry which gently encourages people to close the door on past sins, and reclaim their true identity in Christ, through discerning God’s plan for their future.
Joe Hopkins, Director for Adult Formation and Mission said: “Central to Christ’s ministry on earth was healing, this ministry did not end at his Ascension – it was given to the Church. Unbound ministry offers a deliverance and inner healing model that is safe, gentle and non-confrontational.
“People of all ages are welcome to attend the day and they can come to as much or as little of the day as they like-just don’t forget to register and to bring a packed lunch! The event is free but we would welcome contributions, in order to cover all costs.”
