A four-part online training course on modern slavery and labour exploitation. Starting Wednesday 18th November at 5:30pm. Free, open to all Christians. Organised by Caritas Diocese of Nottingham.
Caritas Diocese of Nottingham invites you to join a network of people across the diocese who would like to address the causes of modern slavery, ensure survivors find the help they need, and call for dignified work for all.
Churches Against Labour Exploitation is a four-session online course organised by Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN) in partnership with Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX).
But this is more than just a training course - it is an invitation to make a lasting difference. In the Diocese of Nottingham we would like to form a network of modern slavery ambassadors: parishioners who engage with local initiatives in their area to share intelligence, support campaigns and develop practical responses.
Join us to build a growing Christian witness against exploitation, and alongside those whose dignity has been denied.
The course runs on four Wednesday evenings: 18th and 25th November and 2nd and 9th December 2026, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, online via Zoom.
Open to any adult interested in social justice - Catholics and Christians from other traditions are all welcome.
