Young Adults Monthly Meetings: November 2026

Every month, young adults aged 18 to 35 gather across the Diocese of Nottingham for an evening of prayer, friendship and honest conversation about faith. November has three evenings, each in a different location.

November 2026 dates

Thursday 5th November - Nottingham Cathedral

JP Jones works at The Briars Catholic Youth Retreat Centre in Derbyshire, serving the young people of our diocese. He will share something of the ministry he is part of.

• 6:00pm - Adoration and Confessions
• 7:00pm - Input from JP Jones (The Briars Catholic Youth Retreat Centre, NDCYS) and Pub Social

Tuesday 17th November - St Joseph's, Derby
‍

Fr Lim will explore the question: Do you have to be Catholic to get to heaven? If non-Catholics can go to heaven, why bother being Catholic? He will look at how the Church helps us on our journey towards holiness, and what the saints have to teach us.

Wednesday 25th November - Holy Cross, Leicester
‍

November is the month of the holy souls. Fr John and Fr Benedict will explore what that means for us today.

• 6:10pm - Mass
• 7:00pm - Adoration and Confessions
• 7:30pm - Talk by the Dominican Friars: Fr John Church OP and Fr Benedict
• 9:00pm - Night Prayer
