Join us for a special evening performance of Handel's Messiah by candlelight to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee for the Parish of the Good Shepherd, NG5 4HT.
Handel's mighty work is a firm favourite and mainstay of the English choral tradition. It includes the famous and rousing Hallelujah Chorus, as it provides a musical depiction of Christ's birth, suffering and death.
The performance will be given on period instruments by the Brook Street Band and Nottingham Cathedral Choir with fantastic soloists Kirsty O'Neill, Celeste Sunderman, Simon Carter, James Farmer.
Tickets at a range of prices including student discount and free tickets for children.
General admission £17.50 including a Mulled wine and Minced Pie.
