Free screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing film at Sacred Heart Community Centre, Carlton. Wednesday 11th November at 7:30pm. Open to all ages 16+. Reserve your place online.
Nine of the UK’s leading scientists sat down to explain, plainly and without panic, what is happening to our climate and our natural world - and what it means for the way we live. On Wednesday 11th November, you can watch that conversation, and then have one of your own.
The Parish Live Simply Group and Gedling Climate Change Group are hosting a free screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing film at Sacred Heart Community Centre, Carlton. After the film, there will be an open discussion about how our local community can come together to respond to the impacts of climate change and nature loss - not in the abstract, but here, in this part of Nottingham.
The film has been described as “informative, empowering - and a reminder to do it together, not alone.”
Suitable for ages 16 and over. All are welcome, whatever your background or starting point.
The screening begins at 7:30pm, straight after Mass. You do not need to attend Mass to come to the screening.
