Free craft workshop for children aged 7+ at Nottingham Cathedral on Wednesday 28th October. Two sessions: 10:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Inspired by Pugin’s Cathedral designs. Booking essential.
Using real plants, flowers, and photographic paper, children can create their own nature prints inspired by A.W.N. Pugin’s original wall designs inside Nottingham Cathedral.
The workshop is part of the Restoring Pugin project and is led by artists Emily Arnold and Alex Vincent Turner. It draws on cyanotype printing, a craft with roots stretching back centuries, to help children discover the Cathedral’s artistic heritage through their own hands. All materials are provided, and children take home everything they make.
Two sessions are available on Wednesday 28th October. Children aged 7 and over are welcome. Accompanying adults do not need to book.
Free. Booking is essential. Tickets are for children only.
