The Diocese of Nottingham's Formation for Mission Department is inviting catechists to a day on reimagining catechesis, led by the team from GIFT — Growing in Faith Together. GIFT have transformed parish catechesis into something genuinely family-focused, deeply engaged in parish life, and growing active disciples of all ages. This day explores how they did it and how it can happen in your parish too.

What is GIFT?
GIFT — Growing in Faith Together — is a parish catechesis model that places the whole family at the centre of sacramental preparation, rather than preparing children in isolation. Parishes that have adopted it report significantly deeper family engagement in parish life.
Is this day only for experienced catechists?
No. If you are involved in catechesis in any capacity — or are considering it — this day is relevant to you.
