The Diocese of Nottingham's Formation for Mission Department is inviting clergy to a day on reimagining catechesis, led by the team from GIFT — Growing in Faith Together. GIFT have transformed parish catechesis into something genuinely family-focused, deeply engaged in parish life, and growing active disciples of all ages. This day explores how they did it, and how it can happen in your parish too.
The day runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm and includes lunch.

What is GIFT?
GIFT — Growing in Faith Together — is a parish catechesis model that places the whole family at the centre of sacramental preparation, rather than preparing children in isolation. Parishes that have adopted it report significantly deeper family engagement in parish life.
Is this day only for parish priests?
It is aimed at clergy. Catechists have their own dedicated day on Saturday 17 October, see the separate listing.
